About

A small shop that builds like a large one.

Nexcore Solutions is based in Houston and builds custom operating systems for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools.

Phong founded Nexcore Solutions to fix a pattern he kept seeing: businesses paying for custom software that nobody documented, nobody verified, and nobody could hand to the next developer. He leads a team of developers and salespeople in Houston, and the factory method is the answer he built to that problem.

Every system Nexcore ships goes through the same loop he runs the company on — mapped before it's built, verified in a real browser before it's called done, and documented well enough that you could take it to another shop tomorrow.

How we work

One standardised build loop, documented as it goes, verified in a real browser before anything ships. You own the code, the database and the hosting from day one.

A Houston team of developers and salespeople — small enough that you talk to the people building your system, structured enough that the method doesn't depend on any one of us being available.

What we believe

Three things, and they're the reason the work looks the way it does.

Software should fit the business

Not the other way round. We map how you actually work before writing anything, including the exceptions nobody mentions until week three.

If it isn't verified, it isn't done

Every slice is driven in a real browser — both sides of every gate. A build that only passes the happy path isn't finished, it's untested.

You should be able to leave

Your code, your database, your hosting, documented well enough to hand to anyone. Lock-in is a business model, not an engineering outcome.

Tell us what's slow.

A short call, no pitch. If we're not the right fit we'll say so.
